WHO WE ARE

  KATE SUPER, Founder and Executive Producer   Kate is a documentary and media producer. She has produced original documentary programming for several major cable networks and directed award-winning social issue short films. Kate also brings deep experience in creative non-fiction content development and marketing for a diversity of products including film and educational tools to Sidford House. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University.

  TRACEY MARX BERNSTEIN, Senior Content Producer   Tracey is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning television producer and content creator.  With more than 10 years’ experience in network news and non-fiction media, she is an expert storyteller. She also brings a wealth of experience in developing media for multiple digital platforms and honing a social media presence.  Tracey holds a degree in Journalism from University of Colorado at Boulder.

Patterson was a senior producer at New York Times Television (Maternity Ward/TLC); a producer and cameraperson on several ABC News series (NYPD 24/7, Boston 24/7,Hopkins 24/7); and a producer at Granada USA (The 1st 48). She was a field producer and cameraperson for National Geographic (Worlds Apart, Taboo and Crisis Zone); NBC News (Ship at War); and she was nominated for 2 Emmy Awards for Best Documentary Cinematography on Love Crimes of Kabul (HBO) and 12th and Delaware (H1BO). She received a New York Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary Camera in 1998 for her work on WNET’s City Life. In 2002, she was honored with an Alfred I. Dupont Award for her work as producer and cameraperson on the series Hopkins 24/7.

MARTIN PENGELLY, Editor and Writer

Martin is an editor and writer. He has worked for more than 15 years for a number of British national newspapers – he is now Weekend Editor for The Guardian in New York. His academic background is in history and the history of art and he is a scriptwriter and editor for an acclaimed theatrical comedy group, The Fitzrovia Radio Hour.
